This Privacy Policy explains how Tiggie Kids Pte. Ltd. ("Tiggie," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data in connection with the Tiggie mobile app, website, and related services ("Service"). Tiggie is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and all applicable data protection laws.

2. Types of Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to deliver our services effectively. This includes:

  • Name and email of parent or guardian
  • Name and date of birth (DOB) of child
  • Developmental progress and usage data within the App (activity logs, preferences, and anonymised AI interactions)

We do not collect unnecessary or sensitive personal data beyond what is required to operate and improve the Service.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

Tiggie collects and processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and personalise early intervention recommendations through our AI-driven platform
  • To create and manage user accounts
  • To communicate updates, progress, and support information to parents and caregivers
  • To analyse usage patterns and improve the Product and Service
  • To comply with legal, audit and reporting obligations

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Tiggie processes data based on:

  • Parental or legal guardian consent for all users under the age of 18
  • Contractual necessity to deliver the Service
  • Compliance with applicable laws and audit requirements

5. Data Hosting and Third-Party Services

All personal data is securely hosted on Google Cloud in Singapore. The App may integrate with third-party service providers for cloud hosting, analytics, and AI processing. Examples include Video SDK, Freshwork, and Amplitude. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data in accordance with PDPA standards.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is retained for up to two (2) years after account closure or last use, whichever is later. After this period, data will be anonymised for statistical and audit purposes, unless longer retention is required by law.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share anonymised or aggregated data with government and funding partners for research, reporting, and social impact evaluation. Personal data will only be disclosed where required by law or with explicit consent.

8. Data Protection and Security

While we strive to protect all data, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. You use the App at your own risk.

9. Children's Data and Parental Consent

Tiggie is designed for parents and caregivers supporting children with developmental needs.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Withdraw consent at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
